“Home” Spray Paint & Latex on Brick. Home is often more than just a physical space. It can be a person, a pet, or a collection of things that gives you that special feeling of belonging and comfort. I was given the chance to paint a few personal examples of these in Chatham-Kent for this year's CK CanJam festival.

Since we met, Brittany always said I was a closed book. It was hard to read, and it took a while for her to gauge what was going on. She, on the other hand, wears her emotions on her sleeve. I like to think that in this piece she's figuring us both out, and the book is our story that she’s in the middle of reading. And Oscar is just here, doing Oscar things.

A special thank you to Sarah Steele for giving me the opportunity to bring this special piece to life. I don’t often get the opportunity to paint in mural festivals, and it's always really special to be able to paint something that is so close to home. I appreciate you guys taking a look, and hope life's been treating you well.
