Fairview Branch 142

Also, we are still looking for Volunteers for the Poppy Campaign. If you wish to help, please call the number below, as well.

You don't need to belong to the Legion to Volunteer for the Poppy Campaign.

This year's Poppy Campaign runs from October 24-November 11, 18 days. We have 378 shifts to cover at 7 locations. Last year we only manned 3 locations for 11 days and it was a struggle covering them. Some members and volunteers did 4 or 5 shifts, which isn't fair to them. Every member of the Legion swore an oath to volunteer for the Poppy Campaign. Last year I called members for volunteers, I don't plan on doing that this year, if the shifts don't get filled, they don't get filled. If you would wish to help with the Campaign this year, please sign the sheets at the Legion or message me at [email protected], with your name and phone number. I will contact you with a position, dates and times. The sooner you contact me, the more choice of shifts are available.
