I love how these sessions allow the beauty of pregnancy to speak through the images, creating a record of how you looked and felt during a chapter that will eventually become part of your family’s story.

Growing up with a twin means sharing so many parts of life from the very beginning, while each sister develops her own personality, interests and way of seeing the world.

Photographing teenage twins is a lovely opportunity to capture both sides of that relationship: the similarities that have always connected them and the individuality that becomes even more evident as they grow.

I love sessions like this because they preserve a stage that will keep changing, giving each sister a chance to see herself as she is today and both of them a memory of this chapter they are living side by side.

Some sessions become even more meaningful when you think about what they will mean to a child years from now.

For Olivia, this beach session was part of a very important moment. She is getting ready to become a big sister, watching her family grow and experiencing all the changes that come with a new baby. Having her included, giving her space to be part of the session and making her feel important in this chapter can become a beautiful memory of her own.

And with summer coming to an end, this session also became a way to say goodbye to the season with a few hours by the water, together as a family, before life changes again.

One more summer memory for Olivia, and one more chapter for Estefania and Marcos to look back on when they see how their family began to grow.

Children experience birthdays in such a particular way. The excitement, the running around, the games, the cake, the people they love all become part of a day they are completely present for.

As parents, we get to watch these little celebrations change over the years. The themes change, the friends change, they grow a little taller and their personalities become even more evident.

Photographing birthdays is a way of keeping those years close. One day, these children will look back and see the little person they were, surrounded by the people who made those days so special.

And for the family, those photographs become a beautiful record of childhood as it really was. Full of laughter, movement and unforgettable celebrations.
