Earlier this June, the AHA! team had some fun in the sun ☀️ riding adaptive bikes at the Bayfront Adaptive Bike Hub in Hamilton Harbour as part of the Everyone Rides Initiative! 🚲

AHA! members Tim and Mya were joined by McMaster Civil Engineering researchers, Drs. Samir Chidiac and Mouna Reda to complete an accessibility walk through of the Theatre Aquarius building today.

We are pleased to be involved with the theatre and considering how to make the arts more accessible to Hamiltonians of all abilities! 🎭

This past Wednesday at the srsmcmasteru RS Showcase, our AHA! members, Ava and Saanya, delivered a fantastic oral presentation introducing our team's current research on the housing experiences of older adults with Down Syndrome. It was a great opportunity to share these insights with the academic community, with fellow member Mya there to cheer them on!
