1UP Games

Well if we’ve got ‘em may as well show ‘em off :D

Set off on a space faring adventure with either the Xbox One or PS4 version of No Man’s Sky! If you like games where you’re getting dropped off in the middle of nowhere and after a quick tutorial they let you take off on your own and do whatever the heck you want then you definitely want to give this game a go. If you just want to jet off to the far reaches of space to discover new creatures and planets, or put together a freighter crew to travel the galaxies in search of rare loot and goods, or go to war with increasingly more dangerous criminals in daring space battles… you are free to do all that and so much more, heck we didn’t even talk about setting up your own home bases.

Also you know how when we post about games with one time use DLC codes we’ve gotta be pains in the butt and warn that content might not be available anymore? Well you don’t have to worry about that cause No Man’s Sky has over 46 major updates available to download for free, which just continued to improve and expand on the game after it’s disastrous original launch into this incredible stand out title that a lot of fans believe has achieved the lofty goals it originally set out to do. Not to mention if you have a Series X or PS5 there’s a free upgrade to a next gen version with improved performance and visuals.

So with the chillier weather approaching if you’re looking for a good time sink kind of game that you might want to hunker down with, No Man’s Sky might just be that game :)

What a fantastic mix of PS5 games hitting the shelves today!

Grab Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly Remake just before the spooky season starts. Try to save your sister and escape a cursed village while fighting off evil spirits. If you’ve never played Fatal Frame, you’ll find out very quickly how stressful pulling up the camera obscura while spirits are trying to attack you can be.

Next we’re also going back to the past with a remake of Yakuza with Kiwami 3. The Kiwami remakes are some of the best around, built from the ground up with the new Dragon Engine. Not only do you continue Kiryu’s journey with his focus being on taking care of the Morning Glory orphanage, but the Dark Ties portion of the game shifts the focus to antagonist Yosh*taka Mine with a prequel story covering his early start in the criminal underworld. Add a bunch of ridiculous minigames and side quests like all other Yakuza games and you’ve got yourself an incredible experience here.

Lastly it’s Capcom’s “take your daughter to work day” title Pragmata! Not to undersell the gameplay since it does blend 3rd person shooting and hacking minigames delightfully well, but
the real heart of the game is the relationship between Hugh and Diana. Don’t want to say much more but definitely check it out. Also keep in mind Capcom did just add a free Mega Man and
Roll outfit DLC pack, so you can look stylish as you complete your mission :D

Hey hey everybody, sorry for the delay in posting but we kind of hit the ground running here this morning and just got a chance to fire something up here.

We’re doing our second short notice sale day of the weekend since there’s the convention in town and we may have some road trippers popping in. So everything is 10% off! No Likes and Comments or anything of the sort, just saving a chunk of the tax off every purchase up in here. So if you happen to be around or want to wind down the weekend with a new purchase come on by and check out the wares!

Also we couldn't react or reply to every comment over the last few weeks but we just want to say thank you for anyone who comments, engages or even just follows. You’re all so dang awesome and we just appreciate ya’s keeping an eye on our page. Can’t thank you enough :)

Add a touch of classy collectors, launch or premium edition quality to your PS3 with these titles!

Normally we wouldn’t get too crazy or hyped about a collector’s edition of Mass Effect 3, but this one is actually still factory sealed! So you could be the first one to crack it open to read the art book or Dark Horse produced comic book, enjoy the physical swag that collector’s editions used to include like the lithographic print and fabric N7 patch… or if you were so soured by the ending of the 3rd game you could always just put it up sealed on your shelf and pretend you never even played it :D

2013 Tomb Raider is a top notch game albeit a pretty grisly and gruesome one at that, but if you wanted to find out what Lara got up to before the start of this game you can find that out in the hardcover Dark Horse comic “The Beginning” included in this launch version of the game.

Lastly we’ve got the fantastic Soul Calibur IV Premium edition which actually includes all the swag it originally came with including the collectible art and comic book, the “tournament kit” which includes the dry erase poster/tournament bracket, an old dry erase marker that we’re certain doesn’t work anymore and the t-shirt prize which is actually still factory sealed. The only negative of this one is instead of a standard release of SCIV it has a greatest hits version instead which is missing the instruction manual, but it’s value is knocked down a bit thanks to
that.

Okay we’re not doing our usual sale since we just did it last week but our fellow geeks are congregating in the city this weekend for Hamilton Comic Con, so we may as well try to provide a little bit of discount for some of the roadtrippers and to our usual amazing customer base.

So for today and tomorrow only we’re just doing a flat 10% off everything in the shop, it’s nothing too crazy, but eating most of the tax definitely helps take some of the edge off of some of those bigger purchases. Heck, we’re not even busting out the Like and Comment schitck ;D

If you are hitting up the convention we hope you have a great time, looks like a fantastic lineup of guests and artists showing up. And while you’re in the city why not pop by and check out the wares :D

SEEEGAAA!! We’ve got more games for SEEGAAA!! …genesis :D

If we didn’t put a bunch of Genesis fighting games up a week or so ago this post would have more oomph, but it’s still an awesome mix of classic 90’s Sega gaming. From the incredible and difficult Dynamite Headdy by Treasure, the bigger and better NBA Jam Tournament Edition, the creepy alien nature of Ecco Tides of Time, to the ear splitting yet somehow interesting soundtrack of Sonic Spinball.

And you can even get a bit of your after school cartoons fix with the animated series Spider-Man game (seriously, how good was that intro theme?) or you can get a bit weird and ugly with Klasky Csupo’s Aaahh!!! Real Monsters :D

Well if yesterday was any indication you guys definitely can dig on a sale… so let’s give ya’s what ya want with one more day!

Broken record time: Everything in the shop is 15% off right off the hop but if you want to save like Marge, drop a Like and Comment on this post right here and we’ll up it to 20% instead, little bit of social media mooching can result in some big additional savings ;D

We can’t get back to everyone right away who was kind enough to drop a comment on our socials, but we just want to say thanks to everyone who’s done so. Whether you’re a new follower, our old faithfuls or just popping in for the quick additional savings, we appreciate any interaction we can possibly muster, you all make it fun and worthwhile :)

Yoooo, let’s keep the party going with day 2 of the Supercrawl Weekend Sale!

It’s easy savings up in here, right off the hop everything in the shop is 15% off but if you drop a Like and Comment on this post today we up the savings to 20%! You get more savings, we get
the social media activity that we keep telling ourselves is worth it, everybody wins :D

Yesterday kicked things off with a bang and we hope we can keep the good vibes and savings a goin’ all weekend long. Whether you’re an ol’ regular or a road tripper coming into town for Supercrawl, come on by the shop and check out the wares!

Dang, we had two other games with this to show off a nice PS4/5 trio, but they already got snapped up!

So let’s start off this sale weekend with a spotlight on the fantastic Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection! Can you believe one PS4 disc can hold ten, count ‘em TEN Gameboy Advance games on it? It’s incredible :D

Yes this collection has the entire GBA lineup of the Battle Network series from the first all the way up to sixth. With the third game they went the Pokemon route and started doing sibling titles, so you get the duos like White and Blue, Sun and Moon, Protoman and Colonel and lastly Gregar and Falzar.

So if you like the charming chip set customization and grid battling style of the classic Battle Network titles, this is definitely a game you want to add to your collection.

Alright let’s gooooo! We’ve got the road trippers coming in for Supercrawl and with it being the first week of the new school year we figured all the students could use something to make this week a bit better, so let’s have a Supercrawl weekend sale!

This might feel like a bit of deja vu by the time the weekend’s over but everything in the shop is now 15% off, and if you drop a Like and Comment on the days respective post (like this one right here) we’ll up the savings to 20%! The easiest way to describe it is you’re immediately paying below the sticker price on everything in the shop, and you can do it all weekend long :D

So we hope the start of the school year’s going great, we hope if you’re coming into the city for Supercrawl you have a safe, fantastic time, and if you happen to be around, swing by the shop and check out the savings! Hope to see ya here :)
