Students have the option to opt-out of OPIRG McMaster’s fee levy of $5.69 if they do not wish to retain their membership for the year. In order to opt-out, students can fill the form on our website, between September 11 to October 8.

We're excited to announce that the OPIRG Impact Investing team is currently seeking passionate individuals to join our executive team for the 2024/25 term! 🎉

Our Impact Investing team leads the OPIRG Impact Investment Summit for the second consecutive year, previously managed by DeGroote Impact. In this role, we'll collaborate on organizing the summit, developing strategies, and promoting sustainability and impact investing ideas to fellow students on campus.

The HUB Hamilton and OPIRG McMaster are hiring undergraduate community research assistants through the Experiential Learning Program! Students will work with an interdisciplinary team to examine service gaps present in supporting high-risk youth.

There will be a fundraiser to support the survivors of the earthquake that happened in Turkey and Syria in front of Mikel Coffee from 9am-5pm tomorrow! We will be collecting donations (cash only but have links available if you want to donate online) and also handing out hand-made zines with Ebru art. Hand-Printed Poster Design Workshop this Tuesday, Feb 7 from 6-8pm in MUSC 230! Learn to use different relief printing techniques to work with images and text, monochrome and colour to create striking posters and graphics. Ingrid Mayrhofer, a Hamilton-based visual artist and educator, will walk us through the design and printmaking process! Registration is free at the link in our bio.
