Saving Second Base

I did not think it would affect me in my life until last year when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to see a cure in my lifetime and that is why I started this tournament, to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for breast cancer. We both can help knock cancer out of the park! Since 2010 Saving 2nd Base has been working with people around the community to raise money for breast cancer research. This fundraiser has been made possible because of the support of people like you! All the proceeds from the Saving 2nd Base Softball Tournament will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation through the CIBC Run for the Cure. The money raised through the CIBC Run for the Cure will be directed towards meaningful research, education and awareness programs. Should you decide to donate, you will help to fund the most promising research and give hope to women and their families living with breast cancer.
