Walking WELL Together 2026 is happening on Saturday, October 3rd, and you're invited to join in the fun! Together, we will be gathering sponsors, walking 5km along Hamilton's Waterfront Trail, and raising money for a much needed food bank truck. We’re proud to have contributed to the International Grad Guide to Thriving in Hamilton, led by Invest in Hamilton and developed in collaboration with more than 25 community groups, institutions, and City departments.

The guide is a practical resource for international graduates looking to build their careers, start a business, find community, and connect with supports and opportunities in Hamilton. It brings together information on employment and entrepreneurship, mental health and well-being, alumni networks, community organizations, and opportunities to get involved.

Our organization's provides Peer to Peer Support Groups and Settlement Services to help ensure international graduates can discover the resources and supports available in our community.

We are looking for Team Leaders for this year's Walking WELL Together 5k! We would love to have you join the fun! On Saturday, October 3, everyone will be enjoying a 5km walk along Hamilton's waterfront. Team Leaders play a unique roll: It's their job to find 5-6 other walkers to join them. Together, they all register on the fundraising platform and try to raise at least $100 each from family and friends. Every dollar raised will help Welcome Inn replace our aging food bank truck and support our many programs! If you want to be a Team Leader, email us at [email protected].

Our seniors group enjoyed a great summer afternoon with live Caribbean music from John Pebble and a fun little snack of charcuterie cups. 🎶

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, October 3rd, Welcome Inn will be hosting its 2nd Annual Walking WELL Together 5k. All the proceeds will be used to help us replace our aging food bank truck and support our vital community supports!

The food bank is closed today for the August long weekend.

We will be open again on Wednesday, August 5th.
