WE HBA’s inaugural Missing Middle & Infill Subcommittee Walking Tour brought together committee members and City of Hamilton staff to visit projects that have successfully delivered missing middle housing.
Led by Subcommittee Chair Charles Wah, the tour explored the planning history, approvals process, and challenges these types of developments face, sparking thoughtful discussion throughout the tour.

What's under the ground costs more than what's on the drawing.
Before we ever quote a fourplex, every trade and every material gets scoped out first, not after.
Save this one if you're in the middle of pricing out a build.
Some days start with a coffee. This one started with framing already up.
Another site in the Greater Hamilton Area taking its next shape. Walls that were just a plan on paper are turning into four separate units, one stud at a time.
This is the quiet part of building no cameras, no finished rooms, just the work that makes everything after it possible.

This wasn't a touch-up. Full basement, top to bottom new stairs, a bathroom, laundry, a bedroom with an actual window, a hallway that doesn't feel like a hallway.
