🎨 Creativity was on full display at the clubhouse yesterday as our members enjoyed a relaxing day of rock painting!

From bright colours and inspiring messages to unique designs and playful patterns, each rock reflected the creativity and personality of its artist. It was a wonderful opportunity to unwind, connect with one another, and let our imaginations shine.

πŸš²β˜€οΈ Today we had the pleasure of taking part in the Everyone Rides Adaptive Bike Program and where do we even begin? It was absolutely amazing!

The program offered an amazing assortment of adaptive bikes, thoughtfully designed to accommodate a wide range of abilities and mobility needs. It gave our members the opportunity to experience the joy, freedom, and confidence that comes with riding a bike, many for the first time in years.

If you haven't had the opportunity to check out Everyone Rides, we highly recommend it! Their welcoming team and inclusive approach make cycling accessible for everyone, creating unforgettable experiences and proving that everyone deserves the chance to ride.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for making today so special. We can't wait to come back!

🍦 We had a sweet time celebrating National Ice Cream Day with our HBIA group!

Everyone had fun creating their own delicious ice cream sandwiches, testing their knowledge with ice cream trivia, and playing a Guess the Flavour game.

Did you know? 🍨 National Ice Cream Day has been celebrated since 1984, when President Ronald Reagan proclaimed July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day. The day recognizes one of the world's favourite frozen treats and encourages everyone to enjoy a scoop (or two!) with family and friends.

It was the perfect way to cool off and spend time together. Thanks to everyone who joined us for another fun-filled Monday activity! πŸ’šπŸ¦

Today, we’re honoured to share Jo Ann’s thoughts as part of our Unmasking Brain Injury: The Stories Behind series. Her mask reflects not only her journey but also the strength, resilience, and hope that have shaped her along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to Jo Ann for her words of encouragement and for sharing the meaning behind her mask with such honesty and courage. Your willingness to open your heart helps others better understand the realities of living with a brain injury and reminds our community that no one has to face their journey alone.

Together, we’re unmasking the invisible, one story at a time. πŸ’™
