Foothills Community Clothing Donation Collection running from July 20th to August 20th. The clothes collected will be sorted and available to the community in large giveaway in time for back to school. Locations for clothing drop offs available in both High River and Okotoks.

We are doing a 10-Part Skill Series this year! Each Skill Share in this series highlights a different skill to explore, and this session arrives just in time for Rodeo and Stampede season.

Join us for a beginner-friendly introduction to line dancing—a dancing tradition part of western-country culture.

We'll learn a little of the history behind line dancing, some easy-to-follow steps, and have a whole lot of fun moving to some of the catchiest classic country tunes.

No experience needed—just be ready to have fun! 🎶👢✨
Community Immigrant Services - FCIS

Last fall Museum of the Highwood partnered with FLIP and FCIS to put on a night for newcomers and immigrants to learn about local folklore and spooky historic facts on a tour of High River. Partcipants built connections and a sense of being welcomed in the community. Thank you for your support of this amazing event last year ☺️

Last fall we celebrated Welcoming Week in High River!
In partnership with High River Library and Welcoming High River project, FLIP and FCIS created a "Speed Mingling" opportunity for community members to meet businesses, service providers, law enforcement, school representatives, etc.
Participants were able to connect with their community and build a strong sense of belonging.
We can't wait to celebrate Welcoming Week again this September!

We are excited to be partnering on this amazing Community Mural Event! Youth & Seniors come together in joint artistic creation to create a mural of the Big Rock! Snack and games will be provided. We encourage all participants to stay and engage in conversation, forming connections across generations.

This is a drop-in style event - registration is available to ensure you are able to paint! Use the QR code to register.
