Lost Cat
Shadow is missing from the Ridgeview Resort area (day 3).
He is microchipped and has a purple tag with his name and phone number on it. Shadow is used to going outside with his brother (also black) but is always in by 6pm. Shadow is a very slender cat and may be hiding in the area.
Please let us know if you see him or can coerce him inside as he is very friendly and chatty.

Introducing Axel 💗

This is one of the sweetest kittens I have ever had the pleasure of fostering. He is approx 3 months old and has been in my care since arriving to Invermere in late June when he was about 3 weeks old. Axel is now ready to find his forever home and we are taking applications through the GALS website.

He has the sweetest way to greet you, by jumping up on your lap when you sit down, and rubbing his little nose up to your face before settling on your chest or shoulder for a cuddle.

He is gentle and patient with my 5 and 11 year old kiddos picking him up, playing with him, and cuddling him. He loves playing with his brother River and falls asleep in the most adorable positions mid-play when he runs out of energy.

He respects my older cats when they don’t want to play, and would be a great companion for anyone looking to add an additional cat to a family who already has a feline 🩷

He has not been around dogs, but my home typically results in cats who are pretty easy-going and adaptable as they are very socialized through my kids, friends, and my other cats.

He is going to miss the companionship of his brother, so I would love to find a home that has other animals to keep him company if there are long periods of time when he would be alone.

This update absolutely melts my heart. These two are best friends and I am so glad they stayed together.

This is Morgan. She is 5 yrs old. She a muted calico and spayed.
Morgan is used to being an indoor/outdoor cat. Fully litter trained. An amazing mouser. She will happily bring you any mice that are running around.
Morgan is very cuddly. She will sleep in your arms all night. She loves to head bump you. She might almost think she is a dog. She comes when you call her.
You can have great conversations with her as well.
Morgan is great with other animals, cat or dogs she doesn’t mind them. She even loves kids.
We have been working on riding in the car and she is getting better with it. I wouldn’t say she loves it but she is ok with it.
