Weโre happy to welcome Pearl back to Flourishing Health next week.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, Pearl worked as a Registered Massage Therapist. Her strong musculoskeletal background gives her a thorough approach to working with people experiencing injuries, repetitive strain, ongoing aches and pains, and concerns that can make everyday movement uncomfortable.
Whether itโs an old injury that continues to bother you, discomfort from repetitive movement, or pain that has been getting in the way of the things you enjoy, Pearl brings both her massage therapy background and acupuncture training to her treatments.
Appointments with Pearl are available beginning October 5.

Changes in weather, routines, daylight, and energy can all affect how we feel. This seasonal shift can be a good time to check in with your body and give it a little extra support, whether youโve been dealing with pain, stress, sleep or digestive concerns, or just havenโt been feeling quite like yourself.
And a little reminder as we move toward the end of the year: if you have extended health benefits, insurance coverage, or a Health Spending Account, now is a good time to check what you have available.

A great drink today on the cusp of season changing , or any day. Give it a try and let me know how it makes you feel.
Hello, my dear friends,
Today, I want to share with you Yin- Yang Water โฏ๐ง
The days are shifting, light and dark moving toward balance. ๐๐
As we approach the equinox, now is the perfect time to harmonize Yin and Yang within.
Yin-Yang water is a very simple kind of water that many Taoists drink daily to balance and improve their energy.
It is made in this way: take half a glass of room temperature spring water (tap water is okay) and half a glass of boiled water and mix them together.
It is best to drink this mixture right away while it's still warm.
This is a simple and powerful way to help bring balance to the digestive system and to help the circulation of the entire body.
I do it every day!
Don't put it into the refrigerator or you won't get the same benefit.
If you like honey, put some good quality, raw honey in your water and it's even better.
Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

One of the biggest questions we hear from people who haven't tried acupuncture is: What does it actually feel like?
In this video, Heather walks you through how small acupuncture needles really are, how they're placed, and some of the sensations you might experience during treatment.
Sometimes knowing what to expect can make trying something new feel a little less intimidating.
Still have questions about acupuncture? Send us a message.

๐ก๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ๐ are one of the biggest reasons people feel nervous about trying acupuncture, especially if youโre picturing the kind used for injections or blood draws.
But acupuncture needles are very different, and the experience itself might not be quite what youโre imagining.
We put together a few things to know about what happens before and during an acupuncture treatment, from how small the needles actually are to what they can feel like once theyโre placed.
๐ Swipe through to learn more.
Still have questions? Send us a message. Weโre always happy to talk about what to expect before you decide if acupuncture is right for you.

You may have ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ฝ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ coverage you havenโt used yet, and there may be more reasons to consider acupuncture than you think.
Many people first think of acupuncture for things like pain or injuries, but thatโs only part of the picture.
People also seek acupuncture support for things like sleep, digestion, headaches, stress and anxiety, hormonal concerns and allergies.
With only a few months left in 2026, now is a good time to check whether acupuncture is included in your benefit plan and if you have any coverage left to use.
If youโve been curious about acupuncture but havenโt been sure whether itโs for you, this could be a great opportunity to give it a try.

Even Mona starts to eat soup when the weather is chilly. LOL. Perhaps not the canned version back in the day, yet as gardens are harvested and the abundance of vegetables overflows your counter and fridge, try making a big batch of tasty soup. Your stomach and digestive system will reward you with a stronger immunity and great digestion. Did you play a little too hard this summer? โ๏ธ๐ฅพ
Maybe that hike was a little longer than planned, you spent one too many weekends on the trails, or all that summer fun has left your body reminding you just how much you did.
At Flourishing Health, we believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to feeling your best. Every body is different, and treatment should be too.
Before becoming an acupuncturist, Pearl worked as a Registered Massage Therapist, giving her a strong musculoskeletal background that she now brings to her treatments, particularly for injuries and repetitive strain.
