The exhibition brings together both 2D and 3D works, creating an immersive experience that invites visitors to discover how differently two artists can interpret and express the same vast theme, while also revealing the underlying ideas and connections that bring the works together.” It is a stunning exhibition, and we would love for you to come and experience it with us. VOLUNTEERS WANTED....
On Friday September 18th (6:30-10:00PM) and Saturday September 19th(1230-1600) the Historical Society will be hosting the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour. If you have never attended one of the Banff Mt. Film Festival World Tours they include action, adventure and cultural films from around the world. In the past showings in Jasper have been well attended and this promises to be a fun two days and a worthwhile fundraiser.
We require 10-12 volunteers to make the event run smoothly. Positions will include Set Up, Membership Sales, Popcorn Servers,
Coffee, Tea and Pastry Servers and Tear Down and Clean Up. Time commitment ranges from 2 -5 hours.

Parks Canada Archeologist Jennifer Ayles will be hosting an evening presentation on Monday, September 14th at 7:00 pm in our Bridgland Room - Fire on Cultural Landscape: Archeology and the Jasper Wildfire. Discover what the team found post fire, what archaeology can tell us about Jasper’s past, and how we can all help protect archaeological resources on the landscape. Everyone welcome!

Exhibit open now in celebration of Ukrainian Heritage Month!
We have a new exhibit open now through to September 10th in celebration of Ukrainian Heritage Month and part of the project "Rooted Together: Growing Community Resilience in Jasper with Ukrainian Newcomers". Entitled Ukrainian Roots in Canadian Soil this display honours the history, culture and contributions of Ukrainian people in Canada.
