KamCon

Yikes! My comment didn't make it into the post? Here it is.

Julian, James, myself and the rest of our crew with KamCon want to share our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all of you sharing a magical weekend with us.

Thank you for providing us with the critical feedback we need. Your candor is appreciated and valuable. You see things that we may not, and we hear you. It's much harder to improve anything we do without that data.

Thank you for your overwhelming warmth, gratitude and positivity. Watching the community around KamCon grow over the last 9 years has been humbling.

We get a lot of thanks for the work our small team has put in. The work is certainly real, the numbers of hours become comical in a shockingly short amount of time. That work we do simply provides a space to meet and sets the time. The community, atmosphere, and joy comes from all of you. You are KamCon.

Next year is our 10th event, October 22nd-24th 2027. Planning is already underway. We can't wait to roll initiative with you then.

Which is your favorite?

One of our special presentations at Kamcon is special guest Avery Alder's game design workshop!

Goblin Game Design: a Touchable, Play-Driven Design Challenge

This is a hands-on workshop! Join award-winning roleplaying game designer Avery Alder for a crash course on some big design principles (like prioritizing imminent zones of use and rapid prototyping), and then break into small groups to put those ideas into motion by designing a weird little roleplaying game from the ground up.

Some come with your game ideas, and Avery will help you expand and realize it as a playable experience!

Get your Kamcon tickets here and sign up for this fantastic experience!

Support indie music! Proceeds will go towards our rehearsal space rent so we can make more music for you!

We're extremely excited for Mythos and Mayhem to come bring their talents to our convention! Be sure to come check them out at Kamcon, September 25th to the 27th!
