Who says it has to be “all work and no play?”

It’s time to highlight one of our in-house services which does not get enough recognition: All things concrete!

From precast installation and er****on to new cast-in-place works, and even concrete repairs, our multifaceted construction team can do it all.

In July, we wrapped up a multi-phase project with a shiny bow in Stewart, BC, at the Long Lake Terminal for Duz Cho Construction. The works included forming, pouring and stripping cast-in-place foundations for new electrical infrastructure to support the growing substation. We also supplied and installed precast foundations with embedded anchors and erected structural steel for the electrical equipment, with support from our crane team. 

Led by our concrete expert, Shaman, our team really poured their expertise into every phase of the project, delivering a rock-solid result, every time 😏🪨

Helical (screw) piles are one of the many piling services we provide, but what makes them especially cool is their application versatility.
 
Beyond traditional infrastructure foundations, screw piles can be used as temporary falsework when a quick, efficient solution is needed, or installed as tie-back anchors for things such as cables supporting bridge structures and ferry operations. Their low-vibration, low-noise installation makes them ideal for sensitive locations where proximity to existing utilities or surrounding infrastructure limits the use of drop,  vibratory, hydraulic or diesel hammers.
 
What are the most unique screw pile applications you’ve come across?

It’s Briar’s Birthday! Today we’re celebrating our incredible CEO as she completes another year around the sun. However, while she’s enjoying a well-deserved holiday, we’ve had some imposters trying to do the impossible and step into her shoes (good luck!)
