The end of August means the end of road trip season in Ontario.

Algonquin. Tobermory. Muskoka. Sauble Beach. The Grand Bend loop. Three hours of highway, gravel roads, bug season at its peak, and at least one stretch of construction.

The car comes home looking like it has been somewhere. Which it has.

Happy Canada Day. Pull through before the festivities.

Canada Day weekend is one of the biggest driving weekends of the year.

Cottage runs, family visits, road trips, fireworks at the park — a lot of people are going to be covering a lot of ground between now and Tuesday. The car is going to earn its keep.

Before the long weekend really gets going, pull through and start it clean. We're open from 6am, no appointment needed, and it takes about four minutes from the gate to the exit.

Jet Auto Wash — 1500 Highland Road West, Kitchener. Open daily 6am to 10pm.

See you out there, Kitchener.

June and July are busy. Gas, groceries, the kids' activities, back-to-back weekends that turn into back-to-back drives. The car is putting in work.

A Wash Club membership changes the math on car washes. At $24.95 a month for the Quality plan, you stop calculating whether it's worth pulling in this time. It always is. The wash is already covered. Pull through on your way to the grocery store. Pull through after the ball game. Pull through because it rained and the car looks like it needs it.

Unlimited washes for less than most people spend on coffee in a week. No contract, no commitment you can't get out of, and your first month is free as a new member.

It's a simple thing that makes summer feel a little more sorted.
