His efforts have boosted local tourism, uplifted small businesses, and expanded Pride celebrations across the Grand River watershed.

The Essentials Fund (TEF) provides an unrestricted grant to eligible Waterloo Region community agencies to provide essential items including toiletries, seasonal appropriate clothing, bus fare, menstrual products, baby needs including diapers and formula and cleaning supplies to support their clients’ long term health.

A recent project from The Village of St. Jacobs Business Improvement Association saw the restoration of a beloved mural that represents St. Jacobs Mennonite roots. Restoration of the village landmark featured the original artist, an emerging local artist, and support from many community partners.

The project was made possible through WRCF’s Arts Grants program.
