From exploring feelings and facial expressions to discovering our bodies, interests, and senses, every invitation encourages toddlers to wonder, play, explore, and learn more about themselves.

All About US in Preschool!

Our preschool rooms are having so much fun learning about what makes each of us special, unique, and wonderfully ourselves!

Through playful invitations, conversations, creativity, and handson exploration, children are discovering their interests, feelings, strengths, families, similarities, and differences.

Our Self Study is creating opportunities for children to wonder, share, connect, and celebrate who they are and what makes them YOUnique, because there is so much to discover when we take the time to learn about US!

As we continue exploring “All Things Self,” our educators have been thoughtfully creating invitations throughout the rooms that encourage children to wonder, explore, investigate, and play.

From Buzz Math and pattern making to sensory experiences, creative expression, imaginative play, movement, relationships, and opportunities to share their ideas. Each invitation gives children a chance to discover something new about themselves and the world around them.

Our environments are becoming places where children can follow their curiosity, make connections, express themselves, and see their own ideas reflected in their learning.

Buzz Math is buzzing through our Preschool classroom!

This week, our preschoolers have been diving into hands-on math invitations that keep their minds curious and engaged! From counting and matching to sorting, recognizing patterns, and exploring early math concepts, every invitation encourages children to learn through play and discovery.

We love watching our Competent, Capable, Curious and Rich in Potential learners make connections, test their ideas, and proudly show what they know!

Little Chefs in the Making!

Our Toddler 2 dramtic play turned into a vegetable soup kitchen today! 🥦🥕🍅

Look at our little chefs as they explored a variety of vegetables, scooped, stirred, mixed, and served up their very own imaginative creations! Through pretend play, our toddlers are building connections, expanding their vocabulary, exploring new foods, and letting their creativity take the lead

Building Connections: Our Wishing Trees!

Wishing trees are flourishing throughout the centre today! Our children are exploring the magic of wishes in so many creative ways — decorating trees, drawing their wishes, writing them down, and sharing what they hope for.

From big dreams to little wishes, every thought has a place to grow! 🌱

Simon Sock is helping us become math detectives! 🔎

As we explore Simon Sock, we’re looking closely to spot the differences between colours, patterns, shapes, sizes, and details. Our little learners are using their observation skills to compare, match, sort, and explain what they notice.

“Which sock is different?”

“What do you notice?”

Bee Curious: All About ME! ✨

We’re buzzing into fall by building connections, growing our classroom communities, and getting curious about the most important topic of all… US!

Our Self Study is officially underway, and we’re exploring everything that makes each of us us, our bodies, senses, feelings, families, friendships, interests, and all the little things that make us wonderfully unique!

From “Who am I?” to “What makes me special?” our classrooms are filled with conversations, discoveries, questions, and plenty of hands-on learning.

We’re learning about ourselves while learning about each other because being different is what makes our community so special!
