FOSTERS NEEDED — 10 small/medium dogs

We have nine little ones coming straight from the shelter, and every one of them needs a soft place to land. Could that be your home? Because they are coming directly from the shelter, we do not yet know their personalities, their likes, or their dislikes. That is exactly why we need patient fosters. People who will let these little guys decompress, get to know them slowly, and give them the time and space they need to settle in. We know they are friendly, and we know they just need time.

What we are looking for in a foster:
✨️Someone who will keep them safe and SECURE at all times
✨️Proper secure equipment on every walk: double leashes, slip leads, and martingale collars
✨️A calm home with no small children (kids 10 and up welcome)
✨️Patience, and a real commitment to letting each dog settle at their own pace

We are looking for foster families who can commit to a minimum of 3 weeks and have the time and availability to support a dog throughout the day. Our dogs need more than just a place to stay—they need time, patience, attention, and consistency while they decompress and adjust to their new environment.

At just 1 year old and 40 pounds, Toby is the perfect size with an even bigger heart. He’s a sweet, goofy boy ready to find a family to call his own.

This handsome boy absolutely adores people. Whether you’re an adult or have kids, Toby is happiest with his humans. He’ll happily stroll up to new people looking for affection, and with gentle introductions, he stays calm and polite while soaking up all the pets.

About Toby:
• House-trained and crate trained (although he’d much rather be with his people!)
• Great in the car and prefers relaxing in the back seat
• Walks calmly on a leash
• Playful and energetic but also enjoys long naps with his family
• Funny and full of personality—his backyard somersaults will keep you laughing!
• Can be nervous around loud cars and large trucks and looks to you for reassurance
• May bark if another dog stares him down
• Can get jumpy when excited but responds well to calm, consistent guidance

• Playing with his ball (he’s happy entertaining himself!)
• Belly rubs
• Lounging around the house with his people

Toby’s ideal home:
• Would love to be the only dog
• Could do well with another respectful medium-sized dog after slow introductions

PABLO - FOSTER FOUND

Pablo is an 8-year-old American Bully weighing about 55 pounds, and he's looking for a loving foster or forever family to call his own.
Pablo needs a home where he can get the time and attention he deserves.

Pablo is the definition of a happy-go-lucky dog. He's active, playful, friendly with everyone he meets, and always ready to brighten your day. He's been wonderful around children and enjoys being part of the family.

Pablo has spent the last 8 years as the only dog in the home, so he hasn't had much interaction with other dogs. He also hasn't been around cats, so slow introductions or a pet-free home may be best while everyone gets to know each other.

A few things to know about this handsome guy:
- Walks well on leash
- Prefers to have free roam of the house (he isn't a fan of being crated)
- Has a chicken allergy, so he'll need a chicken-free diet

Pablo still has so much love, companionship, and joy to give. He's hoping for a family who will welcome him into their home and give him the comfortable, loving life he deserves.

Piper (Sammy) is a beautiful 4-5 year old, 40kg sweetheart who is looking for a family to call her own. She’s the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, happiest when she’s spending time with her people.

A little about Piper:

• Loves to snuggle and be close to her person
• Playful, but also enjoys relaxing and downtime
• Loves people and is very gentle with visitors
• Hasn’t lived with children, but her gentle nature suggests she’d likely do well with respectful kids
• Does well with medium-sized dogs
• Would do best in a home without small dogs
• Has not been tested with cats
• Walks nicely on a leash and just appreciates a little reassurance when passing other dogs
• Is still adorably a little nervous of squirrels on walks
• Knows her basic commands and has a great training foundation
• Has done well being left alone for short periods
• Is comfortable relaxing in a crate once she’s inside (she just needs a little encouragement to go in)
• Rides well in the car and feels more relaxed when you talk to her
• Thrives on companionship and simply wants to be with her family

Piper is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place and is looking for someone who will give her the love, reassurance, and companionship she deserves. In return, she’ll reward you with endless affection and loyal friendship.

‼️💔 Ruby Roo Desperately Needs Your Help 💔 RUBY NEEDS A BLOOD TRANSFUSION ‼️

Ruby Roo is as sweet as they come. We know for certain she has been bred continuously since 2022, and when her body could no longer keep up, she was discarded like garbage.

When Ruby arrived in our care, her prognosis was not good. But we all feel she deserves a chance, and are willing to do what it takes.

⚠️‼️‼️She is currently hospitalized at Waterloo West Animal Hospital on IV fluids and medication. Ruby has been referred to the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) for specialized care, but we need to raise at least $2,500 before we can send her. Once at OVC she would get a life saving blood transfusion. Once she's strong enough, we'll begin treating the severe skin infection that has been left to worsen for far too long.‼️‼️⚠️

Ruby has also been diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease.

We want Ruby to have a chance in this lifetime to feel love.

MAX – ADOPTED ✅

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with his whole heart, Max may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Max is a 2-year-old mixed bully breed weighing approximately 60 pounds. His favorite thing in the world is being with his people. A true Velcro dog, Max wants to be wherever you are—curled up at your feet, snuggled on the couch, or giving one of his signature sloppy kisses.

Max enjoys playtime and adventures but is equally happy settling down for a nap afterward. He sleeps well, eats well, and thrives on companionship. One of his favorite activities is car rides—if he sees an open car door, he’ll likely hop right in for the next adventure!

Max walks nicely on leash and approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He has done well with cats overall and, while curious and likely to chase if given the chance, has not shown aggression.

Being left alone is something Max is still learning. He isn’t a fan of the crate yet, so his future family should be prepared to continue crate training and help build his confidence when alone.

A few things to know about Max:
• He can get excited and may jump up to say hello.
• When anxious, he may paw or scratch.
• He is happiest spending lots of time with his people.
• He is incredibly affectionate and eager to be part of the family.

Carma is a 3-year-old, 55-pound mixed bully breed with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She’s playful, goofy, affectionate, and absolutely lives for her people. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will love you with everything she has, Carma might just be your girl.

This sweet “nanny dog” adores children and thrives on human connection. She’s happiest cuddling with her family, playing, going on adventures, or simply being close to the people she loves. She’s crate trained, incredibly smart, and eager to please. Carma also has a chicken allergy and will need a chicken-free diet.

Carma is very active and would do best with someone who understands bully breeds and has the time, patience, and commitment to continue helping her build confidence. She has experienced trauma after being attacked by another dog, which has left her fearful and reactive around other dogs. She may bark and become overwhelmed when she sees them, so she needs a calm, structured environment and slow introductions if around other animals..

Carma can coexist with cats depending on their personality. She does well with younger, playful cats who match her energy.

Her perfect home would be:
• Experienced with bully breeds or reactive dogs
• Patient, calm, and willing to continue training
• Active and able to give her exercise and mental stimulation
• Understanding of anxiety and trauma behaviors
• Full of love, structure, and consistency
• Someone who won’t give up on her

Carma is not a “perfect” dog, she’s a deeply loving dog who has been through hard things and deserves someone willing to see the beautiful soul underneath her fears. With the right person, she will be the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ask for.

Ruby. ❤️ She is the sweet mama of three puppies who were rescued last year, but somehow this poor girl was left behind.

Ruby is approximately 3–4 years old and has endured a heartbreaking year of being forgotten. She finally has a chance at a better life, but she needs somewhere safe to land.

‼️Ruby is being transported from Quebec and will arrive in Kitchener this Sunday(TODAY) at 5:00 PM.‼️

Right now, we have no foster plan in place, and time is running out.
