To keep costs down, our government is extending the suspension of the federal fuel excise tax on gas, diesel fuel and aviation fuels - providing relief to to drivers while lowering operating costs for businesses that rely on transportation.

It was a pleasure to be with the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, the Minister of Public Safety, in Brantford today to highlight our government's decision to extend the pause on the federal fuel excise tax, which will provide continued relief for families, workers, and businesses.

It was a pleasure to tour Friendship Village and hear about House of Friendship’s plans to create up to 170 affordable and supportive homes in downtown Kitchener. What a wonderful weekend celebrating the 173rd Wellesley Fall Fair! 🐄 For generations, the fair has brought our community together to celebrate Wellesley's agricultural heritage, local traditions and incredible community spirit! 🌾 It was also fantastic to recognize this year's Fall Fair Ambassador program and Wellesley Idol semi-finalists stepping up to get involved in the community. Hope everyone had great time.

From farm fields to the future of food production, I enjoyed learning more about Upside Robotics' agricultural technology and its potential to support Canadian farmers, as innovation continues to grow in our fields. Their robot "spoon-feeds" nutrients to corn plants 24/7, delivering smaller, targeted applications that can reduce nitrogen use while improving yields and return on investment. It was great to hear more from Bender Brook Farms and Upside Robotics about the results they're seeing and the potential for this community's innovation as it grows and shapes Canadian agriculture.
