Trinity Village is a supportive and caring non-profit community for older adults owned and operated by Lutheran Homes Kitchener-Waterloo. Made up of a Long Term Care Home, Adult Day Program and Independent Living Townhomes, Trinity Village is conveniently located on Kingsway Drive in Kitchener near Fairview Park Mall. Our Mission : In conjunction with community partners, Lutheran Homes Kitchener-Waterloo provides quality programs and facilities that enable people with housing, medical and social needs to live with dignity and respect. Our Vision: Lutheran Homes Kitchener-Waterloo, a faith-based ministry, will be a leader in providing superior care through innovative services and community partnerships that enable people to live with dignity and respect. Our Values: As a Christian-based organization, our day-to-day activities are focused on building a community of caring, service-oriented people.

We’re still celebrating the success of this year’s 9th Annual Grand Parade! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s event and helped us surpass our $25,000 fundraising goal. Thanks to your generosity, we are now more than 75% of the way toward enhancing the spaces our residents call home by funding an on-site organic waste composter for Trinity Village. This innovative equipment will help us reduce food waste, support environmental sustainability, and enhance our commitment to responsible stewardship of resources.
Every donation, every roll/step walked, and every act of support brought us closer to making this important project a reality. The impact of your generosity will extend far beyond the event itself, benefiting our Trinity community for years to come.

On Tuesday evening, our residents enjoyed An Evening in the Garden, hosted by our Horticulture Team🌱🌻. As they made their way through the different stops, they could explore the community gardens, take a closer look at the flowers, herbs and vegetables, enjoy live music and activities, and visit the Artist’s Corner to see a selection of OMA art pieces.
The flower cart was a favourite, giving residents the chance to pick some of their favourite flowers and put together a little arrangement to bring with them.
A big thank you to our Horticulture Team, and to our staff, care partners and volunteers for being part of the evening and helping make it such a lovely experience for our residents. 💚

Last week, Diane and The Cavaliers joined us for our Summer Concert Series, bringing a mix of traditional country music and classic favourites to our community. Our residents, volunteers, and staff sang along, danced, and enjoyed a wonderful time together! 🎶
