The Root Chakra is the chakra of safety, family, roots, home, finances and security. This is our centre for feeling grounded, supported and safe. The emotion here is fear. Physically it relates to our adrenals, legs, back and elimination. If you are feeling afraid, unsupported, or perhaps there is some turbulence in your work or home life, doing some healing work with the root chakra may be helpful.

Join us for a Root Chakra ✨Chakradance✨ class where we journey through the depths of this energy centre. We harness our primal energy, ground into our body, and connect with our ancestors and power animals.

✨Chakradance✨is a meditative dance experience where we move with eyes covered and on a yoga mat. The music changes to match the frequency of each chakra. Chakradance combines breath, movement, visualization and sound healing to create a deep and embodied journey inwards.

As I wrap up my third week of slow living, I have noticed an improvement in my ability to be mindful and present. It has been coming so easily for me.

The beauty of being present amazes me. Walking outside without a phone, noticing the architecture on old buildings, stained glass windows, gardens with a variety of plants and flowers, small shops that I never noticed before.

Slowing down has allowed me to be more present with those I love, increasing my ability to really see them, expanding my gratitude for the people that I love and appreciating all of the beauty around me.

I have crossed almost everything off my to-do list because I have prioritized my time and energy better. I’ve been intentional with my time and energy.

I am able to do all of this and have this changed perspective because my nervous system is regulated. It’s taken small steps to get here but it’s been so worth it.
