Levant

Creative Arts & Inclusion Program Part Two
Following a successful first part of our Creative Arts & Inclusion Program this spring, Levant for Culture & Arts is now continuing with the second part of the program.
Through creative activities such as painting, mixed media art, music, singing, and creative expression, we create opportunities for participants to explore their creativity, build confidence, share their experiences, and connect with others.
Our program provides a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where participants can take part regardless of their previous experience.
We especially welcome newcomer youth and participants with special needs, while our community activities are open to everyone who would like to connect, participate, and enjoy the arts.
No experience needed. Everyone is welcome.
Come create, connect, and be part of the community.

We are very proud to celebrate Rania Al-Hamoud, recipient of the Ontario Volunteer Service Award, in recognition of her 12 years of dedicated volunteer service with Levant for Culture & Arts.
Rania has been a dedicated Dabke instructor and dancer with Levant since 2014, generously sharing her time, knowledge, talent, and passion with our community for the past 12 years.
Alongside her professional work as a professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo, Rania has continued to give her time to Levant and to the many people who have participated in our Dabke programs.
Through Dabke, Rania has helped bring together people of different generations and backgrounds, from young children to seniors. Her contribution has helped make Dabke much more than a dance program. It has become a space where people can celebrate their heritage, build friendships, develop confidence, and experience a sense of connection and belonging.
Rania, thank you for 12 years of commitment, generosity, and service to Levant and our community. Your contribution has touched the lives of so many people, and we are very happy to see your dedication recognized through the Ontario Volunteer Service Award.

Congratulations, Rania! We proud to have you as part of the Levant family.
