Joe is a former Trustee on the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. Joe is a former Trustee for the WCDSB.
An active local volunteer, Joe is also involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126, where he currently serves as President and Deputy Zone Commander. He has been helping seniors and specifically Veterans in our community through his role. He is also a passionate advocate for greater housing availability for all in our community. As a Financial Specialist and in the financial industry for over 23 years, Joe knows the importance of being fiscally responsible, but making sure no one goes without. He believes that there is a balance, and he can help accomplish this if elected. He currently lives in Forest Heights with his wife and 2 stepdaughters.

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home and support when they need it. It’s encouraging to see our community come together to help neighbours experiencing homelessness.

Tonight in Ward 2, I had some great conversations, including spending about 10 minutes sitting on one gentleman’s porch, listening to what mattered to him.
That’s the kind of councillor I am. I can’t do my job if I don’t understand what people in our community need. And that starts with making time for a conversation.

The umbrellas weren’t needed for the weather today—but they were a powerful reminder that no one in our community should have to weather a storm alone. ☂️
I was proud to join United Way Waterloo Region Communities for the March of 1,000 Umbrellas, kicking off this year’s United Way campaign.
It was inspiring to see so many people from across Waterloo Region come together in support of our neighbours and the local organizations serving them.
Thank you to the United Way team, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who made today such a strong show of community spirit. When we come together, we can make a real difference. United is the way! ❤️

Being a Regional Councillor means knowing more than just your own city — it means understanding what’s happening across the entire Waterloo Region.
I started in Baden for the Prime Ministers Path re-dedication, then headed to Williamsburg to take in the community festival.
Regional decisions affect all seven municipalities, and I believe good leadership means getting out into our communities, listening, learning, and understanding what’s happening across the Region firsthand.
