Thoughtfully made for everyday living. Faith-rooted apparel, kitchen essentials, comfort & care, and meaningful gifts. Crafted with care.

Hi, I’m Bev Kesselring, the hands and heart behind Soul & Thread House. What started as a love for creating with fabric and color has grown into a passion for crafting meaningful pieces that bring warmth and beauty into everyday life. From cozy sewn goods to custom mugs and tumblers — and eventually handmade soaps — every item is made with intention, joy, and faith at its center. I believe creativity is a gift from the Maker, and I hope each piece I create reflects a little of His light — something thoughtful, beautiful, and made with heart. ✨
Made with heart.

Behind every handmade piece is a process. 🤍

Most people see the finished bowl cozy, apron or pot holder... but before that comes choosing fabrics, cutting, pressing, organizing and preparing every single piece.

Some days in the studio aren't glamorous—they're all about careful preparation. But that's what allows every collection to come together one step at a time.

This week has been full of cutting, interfacing, pressing and getting everything ready for sewing. I can't wait to start turning these stacks into finished pieces for this year's markets.

Thanks for following along on the journey! 💕

This wall has become my creative roadmap. 🩷🧵
One thing I've learned about myself is that my creativity doesn't thrive in chaos—it thrives with a plan.
I do my best work when I can clearly see the goal in front of me.
These cue cards map out every sewing collection I'm planning to create for Soul & Thread House for the rest of this year.
Instead of wondering what to make next, I can simply look up, choose a collection, and get to work. That frees up my creativity because I'm creating instead of constantly making decisions.
Embroidery still has its own planning to do, but having my sewing projects mapped out like this gives me a sense of peace... and honestly, it makes me excited to walk into my workroom each day.
Sometimes the best creative tool isn't another supply... It's a plan. 💕

✨ I need your help! ✨

This beautiful new kitchen collection is almost ready... but there's one thing missing.

It needs a name. 💛

When you look at these fabrics and the finished pieces, what feeling comes to mind? What would you call this collection?
I'd love to hear your ideas in the comments! 🦋🌼

🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day! 🍁

Today we're celebrating the beauty of this country we call home—the wide open spaces, the small towns, the backyard BBQs, the cottage weekends, and the people who make Canada such a special place.

From our family at Soul & Thread House, we hope your day is filled with laughter, good food, and time spent with the people you love.

Happy Canada Day! ❤️

When I first created the Bold Faith collection, it was for the moments when we want to boldly declare our faith and share what God has done.

But the longer I walked with the Lord, the more I realized that not every season of faith feels bold.

Sometimes faith looks like waiting.

Sometimes it looks like trusting when the answer hasn't come.

Sometimes it looks like holding onto God's promises when circumstances tell a different story.

Sometimes it looks like getting up each day and choosing to believe that God is still working, even when you can't yet see the outcome.

That's where Quiet Faith was born.

Quiet Faith isn't about having all the answers. It isn't about having a perfect testimony or saying all the right things.

It's about the steady, everyday faith that carries us through ordinary moments and difficult seasons alike.

The faith that whispers "Be Still."

The faith that remembers "But God."

The faith that remains "Steadfast."

The faith that trusts God "In the Waiting."

Let me introduce you to Quiet Faith. 🤍

So much has been happening behind the scenes lately. 🤍

Over the past few weeks I've been working on new products, updating the website, adding handmade pieces to Etsy, and slowly bringing a few ideas to life that have been sitting in my heart for a while.

Some of you may remember a little sneak peek I shared a few weeks ago. Those faith-based designs are still very much in the works, and I'm excited to start sharing more of them soon.

For now, I'm enjoying the process of creating, testing ideas, and building Soul & Thread House one piece at a time.

Thank you for following along on the journey. 💙
