Alex Robertson Public Library

The Alex Robertson Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7 for Labour Day.

Starting this Saturday, Sept. 5, we return to our regular Saturday hours of 1:00pm - 5:00pm. As such our first Lego competition of the school year will begin at 1:30pm and end at 3:00pm. Happy building!

Family Storytime is back starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 11:00am. Our first storytime theme of the school year is Ready to Learn!

Summer is coming to a close, which means it's time to get into fall programming at the library! With special events for Culture Days, after school programming, storytimes, and more this September there's always something new to do at the library.

Lego at the library is back! Join us Saturday, Sept 5 from 1:30-3:00pm for a Back-to-School themed building competition for your chance to win a Lego set.

Registration for all Fall After-School Programming at Alex Robertson Public Library is currently FULL. If you would still like to register you will be added to a waitlist and contacted about placement by programmers at a later date. Thank you all for your interest and support.

Art with Annalisa is back! Fall into Art will run Tuesdays -or- Thursdays, 4:00pm-5:00pm starting Sept 22 until Nov 10. Ages 7-12. Registration required.
Space is limited to 24 participants (12 kids per session). Please indicate your preferred weekday when registering. We will do our best to accommodate preferences, but placement is not guaranteed.
Annalisa will contact families directly by September 11th to confirm your child’s registration and provide program details.

Dinosaurs, crocodiles the size of schoolbuses, and sharks the size of airplanes - Kids will learn about the weird and wonderful life of earth's past at our Paleontology program.
Our Fall drama production will be Bram Stoker's classic vampire tale, Dracula, with a suitably spooky show day of October 30th.

Patrons ages 10 and older are invited to join us between 4:00 - 5:30pm on Friday, August 7 to create tiny art!
