Bridlewood Riding Centre

Summer highlights:
We had an amazing crew of 12 students that attended the Mission Creek Derby. Summer camps were full with 64 participants. Lessons were buzzing with an average of 70 lesson participants per week. Need to send a big thank you to my wonderful coaches that make this all happen. You are very much appreciated!!!

The Kelowna Riding Club is pleased to introduce a new feature for our newsletters, our "Rider Spotlight". This feature will highlight an Okanagan rider and their equine BFF. We warmly invite submissions from our readers for future newsletters! If you are interested in being featured, please email a few sentences in response to each of the KRC question prompts below, along with a picture of you and your horse, to [email protected]. We can't wait to hear from you!

KRC: Tell us a little about your horse (e.g., breed, colour, fun fact)!

Hi. My name is Deveny Gordon and my pony's name is Rooster. He is a Welch pony cross with a beautiful, bay roan coat and he has a funny habit of loving Mentos!

KRC: What is your favourite thing to do with your horse?

I love spending time snuggling him and hanging out with him, like going to horse shows and putting sparkles on him for the cross- country. Spending time together is what makes riding so much fun. One of my favourite things to do is riding Rooster on the trails through the trees. I enjoy the quiet time together and all the adventures we have along the way. Every ride is something I look forward to.

KRC: What are some of your riding goals for the future?

My goal is to improve my riding skills while having fun. Rooster is my best buddy and I can't wait for our future adventures together!

Welcome to the world ‘Twix’. This is our first Casparo foal and we couldn’t be happier with him!

We have 59 kiddlets already signed up for camps this summer. We are adding more camps where we can to keep groups smaller for more one on one time with coaches. Get signed up before we can’t add any more spots. Looking forward to this summers camps - making dreams come true. The joy and excitement of riding and connecting with horses will create memories that last a lifetime … let’s ride 💕
