Wellspring Education Foundation: Empowering Youth Through Quality Education | Michelle & Bertrand Welcome to Royal FM , The Heartbeat of KigaliTune in for a royal ...

This summer, we were excited to develop and launch a brand new training module that combines two of our greatest passions here at Wellspring: strengthening families and building student wellbeing.

Designed and facilitated in partnership with the Rwanda Basic Education Board - REB, this engaging and interactive training equips Family Coaches* with a strong understanding of social-emotional learning and what it takes to build resilience in children and young people. And it begins not by looking outward, but by looking inward.

Our team shared that participants really dug into understanding their own emotions, so that they can better support and manage their own children's emotions, and then carry this learning into their interactions with the vulnerable families they serve.

Please join us in praying for each of these individuals, that this time would bear fruit in their own homes and in the lives of the children and families around them 💛

*Who are Family Coaches? They're trusted members of the school community—pastors, school leaders, health workers, teachers, parent committee members, village leaders—who are deeply embedded in the life of their communities. Through training and mentoring, we equip these coaches to come alongside parents, helping them to strengthen their family relationships, develop positive parenting skills, and prioritize their children’s education.
