Centre Point Church

One of our favourite parts of celebrating was seeing what people wrote on these cards.

We asked two simple questions:
“I have seen God…” and “I believe God will…” And wow.

The cards were filled with stories, gratitude, prayers, faith, and hope. So many reminders of what God has already done — and so much excitement for what we believe He’s going to do next.

It was such a simple activity, but it became one of those moments that made us stop and remember:

God has been faithful.
He is still moving.
And there’s more to come.

5 years of Centre Point!

Five years of Sundays, friendships, changed lives, serving together, showing up for one another, and seeing what God can do through ordinary people.

This weekend was a chance to look back and celebrate everything that God has done through our church.

And we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of the story.

What was your favourite part of Sunday?

Sunday was one of those days we will not forget.

We celebrated people who have experienced Jesus in a real and personal way and chose baptism as their next step.

Each person had a different story. Different questions. Different experiences that brought them to this moment. But each discovered hope and new life in Jesus.

That is what made Sunday so special.

Baptism is more than a church tradition. It is a person publicly saying, “Jesus has changed my life, and I want to follow Him.”

If faith is new to you, you have questions, or you are simply curious about Jesus, stories like these are a reminder that you do not need to have everything figured out to begin.

You can start right where you are.

Grades 6–12, Youth is kicking off and we cannot wait to start the year together!

Come hang out for a night packed with food, games, worship, lots of fun, and a chance to meet your small group leaders and the people you’ll be doing life with this year.

Bring your friends. Come ready to have fun. And get ready for an incredible year of growing together, building real friendships, and discovering what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.

We’ll celebrate our kids as they head back to school, look back at five years of what God has done, and look ahead with expectation for what He is going to do next.

And because every good celebration needs something fun, we’ll have dirty sodas, treats, and more after the service.

There is a lot happening, but it all points back to one thing:

FREE STORE | WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Over the past two years, the Free Store has had the privilege of serving more than 400 families right here in Langley, and we are so excited to see what God will do this year!

On October 2, the Free Store is happening again, and it takes a whole community of people coming together to make it possible.

There are so many ways to be part of it. Whether through volunteering, donating, helping prepare, or simply sharing the opportunity with others, every person can play a part in loving and serving families in the community.

This is more than giving away clothing and household items. It is an opportunity to welcome people, build connections, meet practical needs, and show the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

Let’s come together and see what God will do through the Free Store this year.

What a week! From the games and late-night laughs to worship, meaningful conversations, and moments with God, this year’s youth camp was one to remember.
We’re so grateful for every student who came, every leader who served, and every person who helped make this week happen.

More than that, we saw students connect, grow, worship, and take steps closer to Jesus.

The memories will last, but we’re praying the things God started in their hearts will last even longer.

Parents, this night is for you!

As Family Ministries heads into a new year, there is so much to be excited about. From our youngest kids through our high school students, the heart is to create a clear pathway where every child and student can know God, pursue growth, discover their design, and make a difference.

Join us for Family Ministries Parent Night as we share the vision for the year ahead, talk about what kids and students will experience this year, and share how the church and families can work together to help the next generation know and follow Jesus.

There will also be plenty of time to ask questions, connect, and hear more about what is ahead!

There’s something beautiful about a church family coming alongside parents as they raise their kids to know and follow Jesus.

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating and praying over these families as they dedicated their children to God.

We’re grateful for each of these little ones and for the families who call Centre Point home. Our prayer is that they would grow up knowing they are deeply loved by Jesus and surrounded by a church family cheering them on every step of the way.
