Today, we honour the life and legacy of RIMEX founder, Chris Weston, who passed away nine years ago today.
Chris’s vision, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for the company RIMEX is today. His influence continues to be felt throughout our organization, in the people, relationships, and values that have shaped RIMEX over the years.

As we reflect on his life, we remember Chris with gratitude and respect, and recognize the lasting impact he made on the RIMEX family and our industry.

Last month, we recognized three dedicated RIMEX team members who each reached 30 years of service with the company.

Congratulations to Dwayne Chick, Rim Inspection & Repair Coordinator, and Sylvia Vampa, Payroll Supervisor, who both began their RIMEX journeys in 1992. We also extend our congratulations to RIMEX President & CEO Derek Weston, who also celebrated this remarkable milestone.

For the second year in a row, we sponsored a golf hole as a member of the Association, giving us another great opportunity to connect with local businesses and members of the community.

Our team was on-site showcasing all that RIMEX has to offer in the region surrounding our Edmonton, Alberta branch, while enjoying a fantastic day on the course with fellow Association members.

Thank you to the Acheson Business Association for hosting another successful event. We look forward to continuing to support and engage with the local business community for years to come!

After 13 years of dedicated service as Safety Manager at RIMEX's Agassiz, BC production facility, we are saying farewell to Roger as he begins an exciting new chapter.

Throughout his time with RIMEX, Roger has been a champion of workplace safety, helping ensure that our team could perform their jobs safely and confidently every day. His commitment, leadership, and care for his colleagues have made a lasting impact on our organization.

As Roger embarks on retirement, he looks forward to spending more time camping and exploring with his wife in their trailer—creating new memories and enjoying the adventures ahead.

Please join us in thanking Roger for his years of dedication and for helping keep us safe. We wish him happiness, good health, and many memorable journeys in retirement.
