CW Canine Consulting is led by Christine Wales, whose love of dogs goes all the way back to childhood; her first word was even “dog.” After years of learning, working with dogs, and training alongside other professionals, Christine started CW Canine Consulting in early 2015 and eventually made dog training her full-time career.
Christine has continued investing in her education throughout her career. In 2017, she trained with Kyra Sundance and became a Certified Dog Trick Instructor, incorporating tricks and agility equipment into her classes. She has also travelled for workshops and training opportunities focused on behaviour, socialization, and working with more challenging dogs.
Today, CW Canine Consulting offers everything from puppy and adult-dog training to private lessons, socialization, pet first aid, workshops, and more, with a focus on helping dogs and their people find what Christine describes as “balanced harmony.”
What I especially love is that giving back is clearly part of who they are.
CW Canine Consulting has been involved in numerous local fundraisers and community initiatives, including raising funds for pet oxygen mask kits for local fire departments and supporting organizations such as the Devon Hospital Foundation.
That makes CW Canine Consulting such a natural fit for the Pet Fair, an event built around dogs, education, community, and giving back to animal rescues.

We’re excited to recognize K9 Kardio from Leduc as one of the wonderful sponsors supporting this year’s Block50 Pet Fair.

I am incredibly proud to recognize the Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce as a Gold Sponsor of the Block50 Pet Fair.
This one is especially meaningful to me because I’m also very proud to serve as a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
The Chamber’s work goes far beyond networking. Their mission is centered around connecting, supporting, and promoting local businesses to strengthen our regional economy, and they back that up with an incredible amount of programming and opportunity for the communities they serve.
They provide business education, networking opportunities, Chamber luncheons and mixers, advocacy, regional events, and promotion for local businesses and initiatives such as the Job Connector, which helps connect employers, job seekers, and students with employment, training, and other resources. Their Small Business Supports Program also offers resources, one-on-one coaching, and learning opportunities for entrepreneurs at many different stages of business.
Having had the opportunity to be involved with the Chamber, I’ve been able to see firsthand just how much work goes into supporting businesses and creating opportunities for people to connect.

Vendor Spotlight: Noodle Art!
We’re excited to welcome Noodle Art to the Block50 Leduc Pet Fair!
Noodle Art is a local handmade business creating colourful laser-cut art, unique gifts and custom pet pieces. Their work is fun, creative and full of personality, making it a perfect fit for a day celebrating pets, families, and community.
At the Pet Fair, Noodle Art will have a selection of animal-themed gifts and custom pet portraits, plus something extra fun for the kids: a free wooden animal colouring make-and-take to create and bring home. AND she has graciously donated a certificate for a personalized art piece of your beloved animal for the silent auction!!

We’re excited to welcome Miss T to the Block50 Leduc Pet Fair!
Miss T creates fun, imaginative activities for kids and families, including **I Spy books, colouring books, take-home creative kits and more**. Her work is all about encouraging creativity, keeping little minds busy and giving families something fun to enjoy together long after the event is over.
Come visit Miss T at Booth #35 on September 19 and check out her creative books and activity kits. It’s a perfect stop for families looking for something hands-on, screen-free, and fun to take home.

The Block50 Leduc Pet Fair is almost here, and we have a full day packed with pets, music, activities, shopping, rescues, and community fun.
Join us on September 19 from 11 AM–4 PM at the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator for a free, family-friendly day supporting some incredible animal rescues.
