We've said it once, and we'll say it again: art is for everyone! 🌈🎨
Our 2026 Pride Mural is officially complete, and we couldn't wait any longer to share it with you! 🥰
The creative force behind this year's mural is our very own Katie Fellger (she/they)! 💖
Katie is a Lethbridge-based performance artist, drag performer, and self-described silly person with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. They have been singing, dancing, and delighting audiences since a young age, and can frequently be found performing with New West Theatre, improvising with Theatre Outré’s ImpromptOu, and dazzling crowds as local drag icon Dunkin Pleasure.
As if that wasn't enough, Katie has a busy season ahead! Not only will they be struttin' throughout Pride Month, Katie will also be performing in New West Theatre's summer production "Millennium," appearing in Lethbridge Musical Theatre's "RENT," and co-directing New West Theatre's Holiday Special. Keep your eyes peeled for where Katie will pop up next! 🎭
A huge shout-out as well to our wonderful Projects Manager, Shannon, for helping bring this colourful afternoon of painting to life. 💕✨
Thank you, Katie, for creating such a joyful and vibrant addition to our community! What a talented crew we have! 🥰
This one was full of fun! ✨
We wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Annae Jones' Card Making Workshop on Saturday. We had an incredible afternoon creating, learning, and being completely in awe of Annae's talent! 🥰
Annae, thank you for so generously sharing your time, creativity, and patience with us. Watching you inspire others was truly special, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to learn from you. 💙
We saw more than 35 original cards leave our doors on Saturday, and if you were one of our participants, we'd love to see what you created! Be sure to tag us in your photos so we can share your beautiful work with our community. 😁
Annae's artist feature continues through the end of June, so there's still plenty of time to stop by, explore her incredible artwork, and perhaps add a piece to your own collection. 👀🖼

✨ New Artist Spotlight: Tia Salisbury of The Painted Antler Company! ✨
We’re so excited to welcome artist Tia Salisbury to AAC Works! 🥰
Tia Salisbury is a southern Alberta based artist who creates Indigenous jewelry and antler artwork. Originally from Beaver Lake Cree Nation, her work is deeply inspired by her Cree roots, the land, and her family. Through the Painted Antler Company, Tia creates high-quality pieces that blend traditional artistry with contemporary flair.
Working primarily with materials that have long been part of Cree culture - including beads, real fur, and shed antlers - Tia’s work is rooted in reclamation, resilience, and kinship. Her pieces reclaim stories, traditions, and practices that were meant to be lost and forgotten, helping them continue to grow and flourish for future generations.
Tia’s work has earned significant local recognition, with the Painted Antler Company being named the Platinum Winner in the 2024 Lethbridge Community Votes and the Gold Winner for Jewellers & Jewelry Stores in the 2025 Best of the Best Awards. 🏆
We’re ecstatic to feature an incredible collection of her work, including beaded wristlets, earrings, claw clips, and more! 💎
Stop by AAC Works soon and discover your new favourite piece! 🛍
