Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and came out to support this meaningful cause. A special thank-you to our resident Terry Fox—the namesake and uncle of renowned Canadian Terry Fox—for walking with us!

We’re also grateful to Lethbridge Police Service and Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services for joining us and helping make the day so special. And a big thank-you to Tom Price for entertaining us!

Happy Hobbit Day! 🍃 We had the most delightful adventure in the Shire, where Gandalf and Clinton Longfoot shared wonderful stories and welcomed us with their very best hobbit hospitality. There may even have been a second breakfast! ✨

Jake was honoured by Minister Nathan Neudorf, Lorne Hickey, Green Acres Foundation Board Chair, and Dawna Coslovi, CEO of Green Acres Foundation, who presented him with awards and gifts. Mayor Van Rijn also gave him a acknowledgement certificate and wished him a happy birthday.

Jake celebrated this incredible milestone surrounded by family and friends, with musical entertainment by Tom Price and a delicious peach cream cake.
