The saddest day of the year is the day the baseball season ends. The 2026 YQL Sluggers Amateur Baseball season has come to an end for the 18u AA team but continues on for the 13u AAA Slugs. As with every season there comes heartache and pain as our athletes go to war together. Through these baseball battles our lives change. We learn that the group is greater than the sum of the parts. We learn that together we can take on more than we can alone. We learn trust and faith in one another. We learn respect and truth.
I love the game of baseball because of the life lessons it brings. It’s not about the throws, the catches or the hits, it’s about the trust built together, the love we share for the game and one another. I will miss you baseball.

YQL Sluggers is hosting some upcoming hitting camps for ages 9-18. Get some better reps and gather some confidence leading up to the most important weekends of baseball this summer

Congratulations to the 13u AAA YQL Sluggers team on winning the annual Okotoks Fathers Day Classic tournament this past weekend. The Slugs took on the host team in the final, perennial favorites Okotoks Black and beat them 16-7 to cap off an undefeated weekend by going 6-0 in the tourney.
A big shout out to Head Coach Mitch Carpenter and assistant coach Doug Bennett on a job well done.

Playoff baseball is here in June. House league playoffs are just around the corner. Get locked in with a little extra batting practice. We got four sessions over the next two weeks. Two Major and two minor aged sessions are slotted. 4:45-6pm.

Minor ages:

Session 3: Mon/Wed June 8/10

Major ages:
Session 2: Tues/Thurs June 2/4
Session 4: Tues/Thurs June 9/11
