What a weekend for horses in Southern Alberta!

Today was Part Two of the Joanne Perlich Ride4Dreams — our 43rd Annual Trail Ride — and we’re closing out our sponsor shoutouts with another incredible supporter: Rocking Heart Ranch!

Once again, Rocking Heart Ranch stepped up as our Trail Lunch Sponsor, making sure the riders who hit the trail after raising pledges in support of LTRA had a great lunch waiting for them along the way.

They have a pretty big weekend of their own happening too. Rocking Heart Ranch is currently hosting the Young Guns C**t Starting Challenge, September 11–13, in partnership with Horse Expo Canada — three days showcasing talented trainers as they work with young Rocking Heart horses, with the winner earning a spot in the 2027 Horse Expo Trainer’s Challenge.

Their support is helping make the Ride4Dreams Trail Ride on Saturday, September 12th at Pavan Park possible — a longstanding LTRA tradition that brings horse lovers together to do something they already love, while riding for a cause.

Are you a horse lover willing to Ride for a Cause? We need you! The Trail Ride is pledge-based, meaning riders register, collect pledges from friends, family and their communities, and then saddle up alongside fellow equestrians for a scenic group ride in support of LTRA. Individuals and teams are welcome, with prizes for our top fundraisers and plenty of community spirit along the way. Every pledge raised through Ride4Dreams helps LTRA continue providing accessible therapeutic riding and equine wellness programs, care for our incredible herd year-round, and ensure more people can experience the connection, confidence and opportunity that horses can provide.
