Our programs have been growing steady since they originated in 2002, and now reach over 22,000 youth each year in Lethbridge and its surrounding areas.
Our mission is to provide youth with positive, interactive, educational and social learning experiences that promote science, technology, teamwork and leadership. Destination Exploration's Mission:
To provide youth with positive, interactive, educational and social learning experiences that promote science, technology, teamwork and leadership. We deliver interactive classroom workshops, exciting summer camps, engaging Friday after school Science Clubs, birthday parties and numerous other outreach programs and special events.

Oh what a summer it’s been - calm if you can really say that about camps filled with 500+ kids across 7 weeks, a weird amount of moustaches and oh so much ice cream being made on the patio.
This team (and some of our interns not on this week) have put their all into each camp, staying to make sure things are prepped and always trying to find that extra something to make each week special.
I made them stand out in the rain for these picture and they did it with smiles and will be forever grateful for all that they do to make DE the program it is.

FriYAY Afternoon Clubs registration is open!
They are back for the 2026/27 school year and perfect for your growing scientist or engineer to explore STEM in hands-on 4-week blocks.

Week 5 of camp is flying by! This week our campers dove into learning about meteorites, created their own Makey Makey version to Dance Dance Revolution, explored a secret lair in coding, and 3D printed their very own stamps. We can’t wait to see what the back half of the week brings! 🔭🦹🏻♂️🕺🏻
