Lindsay Ribfest

The Lindsay Ribfest is hosted annually by Young's Community Foundation, whose goal is to raise needed funds for local registered charities. Established in 2009, Young's Community Foundation focuses on the annual Ribfest, but will assist other registered charities with promoting their events, or hosting smaller events to benefit the community and its members throughout the year. Our goal is to make Ribfest an enjoyable event for the entire family and love feedback from our community in regards to our mini-event planning. Within Ribfest itself, we try to have a wide range of smaller activities that appeal to everyone and which only have minimal cost to participate. Our main venue is free, so bring everyone you know in August, to the Old Mill Park! Surround yourself with the amazing smells of BBQ, roasted corn, and enjoy the sites and sounds of the beautiful City of Kawartha Lakes. Our venue is fully accessible by foot, car, and boat so make sure you play in CKL, all weekend long. Young's Community Foundation relies heavily on sponsorships, grants, and volunteers.
