If you are wanting change you are in the right place.
When anxiety isn't a distortion.
When you don't know if you will be able to pay next month's rent, have food, or you're one unexpected expense away from a fiscal crisis, that isn't a distortion. That's anxiety doing its job telling you something real needs your attention.
Scarcity impacts the mind because when it's preoccupied with not having enough, whether that's money, time, or other resources, the mind keeps returning to it, over and over. When anxiety shows up here, it's because the threat of danger is real.

Overthinking can make things bigger than they are and other times it can be an asset when in a job that needs you to think ten steps ahead. It's helpful to stop the overthinking before it spirals out of control.

There is a profound helplessness that comes with loving a child who is struggling with their mental health. It is a grief that few people understand unless they have lived it. It exists alongside love, hope, fear, guilt, and exhaustion.
The helplessness as a parent watching it unfold. Grieving the loss of who they were before the mental health struggles took hold. Trying repeatedly to help and sometimes being pushed away, blamed, or rejected by the very child you are fighting for.
And the cost that ripples through the whole family. The siblings who witness it all quietly. The relationships and trust that get damaged along the way.
And sometimes, after all of that, the hardest decision a parent can make is to let go. Not because the love is gone. But because holding on is no longer sustainable for you, your family, and the life that still needs to be lived.
You are not alone in this.
I wrote this piece for every parent who has lived this or is living it right now. The full blog is linked below.
If this resonates, please share it with a parent who needs to hear it.

Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach.
We can be so hard on ourselves for the choices we made, the things we missed, the ways we showed up before we knew better. But some lessons can only come through lived experience, growth, and through time quietly doing its work.
That's being human. 🌿

Working in a Toxic Workplace Many people have experienced a toxic workplace at some point in their career. Not every toxic workplace looks the same, but they all have one thing in common; they come with a cost. A cost to the people trying to work within it, and a cost to the output of the workplace itself.Let's be real. We know...

Have you ever felt something in your body that you just couldn't explain? Have you experienced tears or sadness that comes out of nowhere. Or maybe feeling edgy and irritable for no clear reason. Perhaps it's a sense that you need to be aware of everything around you.
You're not imagining it.
What your body is experiencing may have roots in something it has been holding onto; sometimes for longer than you realize. That's your body trying to communicate something important.
If any of this feels familiar, I'd love to talk.

The loss of friendship. The quiet and empty park bench can symbolize that grief.
Navigating the Silent Grief of Friendship Loss and Its Hidden Emotional Impact Friendship loss may be one of the most overlooked forms of grief. Unlike other types of loss, it often happens quietly, without ceremonies or shared mourning. When a friend chooses to walk away, the pain can feel isolating because there is no straightforward way to express it or receive support. Yet...

Did you know your body has a built-in calm button? 🌿
It's called the vagus nerve — and it controls how safe you feel in your body, your heartbeat, your breathing, and whether you feel calm or on edge.
