Drop-in sessions twice a month on Mondays and Wednesdays. iseevision.ca for specific details. The screening camera gives immediate results.
80 per cent of what children learn in school is acquired through what they see, but 1 in 20 preschoolers has a vision problem. Children aged 18 months to 4 years can participate in a vision screening research program for lazy eye through St. Joseph’s Health Care London’s Ivey Eye Institute - Ivey Special Eye Examination Services (iSee). It’s as easy as taking a picture, and takes just a couple of seconds. Screening is for early detection and treatment of amblyopia (‘lazy eye’) to prevent irreversible vision impairment.
