The Mulchman

This client wanted a revamp of their ‘English Garden’ and we delivered.

When the client asks to give you a hug even though you’re sweaty and covered in dirt, I think it means it was a success.

Thanks to SiteOne landscape London ON and Baseline Nurseries & Garden Centre 🇨🇦 for making this one possible.

Old charm and now, a revived garden in Old North. 🤎

Here we have a rare glimpse of The Mulchman in his natural habitat.

Notice the remarkable patience with which he stands, clipboard in hand, carefully surveying the terrain before him. To the untrained eye, he appears to be simply quoting a landscaping job. But in truth, this is an intricate ritual, honed over countless seasons of transforming ordinary garden beds into extraordinary landscapes.

Observe how he studies every contour of the property. The shrubs, the edging, the weary patches of mulch—nothing escapes his keen attention. Each note he scribbles brings him one step closer to restoring balance to the ecosystem.

The homeowner watches from a safe distance, aware that any sudden movement could interrupt the Mulchman’s calculations. Experience has taught them that this elusive creature thrives on precision, measuring beds, estimating volumes, and mentally calculating exactly how many yards of fresh mulch will breathe new life into the landscape.

Soon, as dawn gives way to another working day, the Mulchman will return—not alone, but with The Silverback, laden with rich, fragrant mulch. In a matter of hours, tired gardens will be reborn, w**ds suppressed, moisture preserved, and curb appeal elevated to its fullest potential.

A truly magnificent species… quietly making gardens look Mulch better.

Throwback! The Silverback is quite the upgrade, but no truck will mean more to The Mulchman than Betty White. May she rest in peace ❤️

This Masonville property recently had some construction done out front. The final touch was adding some pine mulch 🤎

What a difference a fresh layer of mulch provides to the look of your property! 🤎

This backyard got some much needed attention. With a fresh layer of cedar going down, it will help prevent any further w**d growth 🤎

There’s something about the charm of Old North that gets us every time 🤎
