This past Thursday i had the opportunity to go on a trip to try and see the milky-way at Port Bruce, unfortunately the weather did not like this idea and gave us as sky full of clouds and rain. However, a classmate and I did not let this stop us from having fun and getting photos using what we had: lights and our surroundings. Both photos use a technique where i slow my shutter speed and move the subject or a light moves and the camera stays still. in the first image i took a photo of the lighthouse and moved my camera using a tripod causing it to look like there is a second building resting above the first. in the second photo a classmate sat and spun in a chair on the playground while wearing a blinking red headlamp as i kept my camera still for the duration of the shutter being open causing the red blotches.

9X9 final project for my photo and the arts class. The goal was to shoot one subject (an apple) in 9 different ways

•One on a white background
•One on a black background
•One with a creative angle
•One out of context
•One with the subject in an altered state
•One with dramatic lighting
•And 3 of my choice

This also means that I am officially done my second year of the and got one left. Now to just have some fun shooting over the summer before back to stressing about grades

Today I went into the studio and started capturing some images for the final project in Photo and the arts. This is just one of the photos I captured and I plan on reshooting it to improve the set up due to a few challenges that occurred during the shoot

Last week I got to go to Port Stanley to take some photos. Here are my 6 for an assignment and I will share a few others I like once I get the chance to edit them some more!

On Wednesday March 18th I was in an image competition featuring all students from the program. Bellow is the titles and scores for both of my images.

Who really knows what’s happening here! Is it breakfast? Is it a game? Are the toys? And the biggest question, WHY?

For my creative 2 class I chose to do my project be on unnatural elements where I shoot an object in a place you wouldn’t usually see it, or in a state it shouldn’t be in. LEGO is obviously unsafe for you to consume but is a fun toy you can build with and a fun pop of colour in this image
