Hearing young readers talk about what kept them going is one of our favourite parts of summer. ๐ฅน
This year, brag tags gave kids one more reason to keep reading, visit new branches, and celebrate every book along the way.
And they did! We saw more kids reading and more book reports than ever before.
Thank you to all of our patrons for making this our best summer ever! ๐

What can happen to a theatre in 125 years? ๐ญ
A fire. A mysterious disappearance. A move into film. A campaign to help a โGrand Old Ladyโ get plastered. And more than one major renovation.
Taken together, these moments tell the story of a theatre that has changed alongside the city around it.
Visit the Ivey Family London Room at Central Library to explore 125 years of Grand Theatre history.
A room full of new beginnings. ๐จ๐ฆ
At a recent citizenship ceremony at Central Library, 76 candidates from 27 countries took the Oath of Citizenship and became Canadaโs newest citizens.
We were honoured to host this celebration in partnership with Canadian Immigration and Citizenship.
Through our newcomer services and community partnerships, we support people as they settle, learn, connect, and build their lives in London.
