Male rhinoplasty is becoming more and more common. This patient had an old nasal injury that left his nose deviated, affecting both his appearance and his ability to wear glasses comfortably. I used a closed approach to realign his nose back to the midline. Nose exercises, "face yoga," mallets to the jaw, tape, — this trend is exploding on social media right, promising dramatic changes with zero medical backing behind any of it. Surgical or liquid — which nose job is actually right for you? 👃
Both have their place, but they're not interchangeable. Surgical rhinoplasty reshapes the bone and cartilage for permanent, structural change (and can fix breathing issues along the way). Liquid rhinoplasty uses filler to smooth and refine — no downtime, no anesthesia, but temporary.
The right choice comes down to your goals, your anatomy, and how long you want the results to last.
