Lumsden Commons

Lumsden Commons’ launch party is happening this Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm!

Lumsden Commons Community Centre shares space with St. Andrew’s United Church. Join us for a potluck in the basement, and lawn games outside!

Though we’ve already been active around town this summer, this party is our official unveiling after some deep cleaning, painting and organizing!

Come check us out, and, as always, we welcome your thoughts and feedback!

Lumsden Commons is re-imagining a Play Café, in the spirit of Parent & Tots!

We invite anyone looking to enjoy some company to join us for coffee or tea and a snack on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00, starting September 23, 2026.

If you have little ones, please bring them along to explore and to discover our continually evolving play space!

Children’s programming will develop according to age range/turnout, but we know this year’s facilitator really likes keepsakes and handprint art!
