In a nutshell, The Nut is a coffee shop. But, if you stay a while, you'll see we're so much more. But, if you stay a while, you’ll see we’re so much more.
We’re your spot for JJ Bean coffee, grab-and-go eats, and locally made goods. We are passionate about supporting small businesses and stock items made locally. We’re a hub built for gathering and an incubator of community. So you see, you can try to put us in a box, but we won’t fit in it. Stay long enough, and we’ll make a Nut out of you.

We had so much fun celebrating The Nut’s 5th birthday with all of you! From the amazing local vendors and live music to the activities, laughter, and so many familiar (and new!) faces, it was everything we hoped it would be and more.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, grabbed a coffee, shopped local, and helped make the day so special. Seeing our little courtyard come to life and our community come together was truly something special. ☕️
A big thanks to all of our wonderful vendors, entertainers, and everyone who helped bring this event together! We couldn’t have done it without you, and we’re so grateful you were part of our celebration.

🎶 Rachel Everest
We’re excited to have singer-songwriter Rachel Everest bringing live music to the Brickwater Courtyard! With a repertoire spanning pop, soft rock, country, Disney, inspirational music and more, Rachel brings warmth and storytelling to every performance. She’s also recently recorded her first single, with more music to come! 🎤✨
🎈 BALLOON-O-RAMA
Liam from Balloon-O-Rama has been twisting balloons and entertaining crowds since he was just 13! A two-time winner of Best Visual Artist – Ridge Meadows (2024 & 2025), he’ll be creating his amazing balloon designs for kids (and kids at heart!) at the market.
⏰ Balloon-O-Rama will be joining us from 9:30–11:30 AM, so come early!
🧚♀️ Moonlight Fairy Parties
Our future Brickwater neighbours, Moonlight Fairy Parties, will be joining us with a magical activity for the kids! ✨
Moonlight Fairy is a boutique children’s birthday party venue coming to the Brickwater, where children become part of an immersive fairy story and explore a beautifully designed magical world. Their goal is to create those special childhood core memories that last long after the party is over. 💫
They’ll be bringing back their popular activity from the Our Neck of the Woods Festival one more time before turning their attention to getting their new shop ready!
