Connection > perfection 💛
I leave some weddings in awe of how the couple prioritized connection with each other & their loved ones over everything being “perfect”. Ironically, letting go of the need for perfection ends up giving you the perfect day.
Timeline off? Who cares. A little rain? No biggie, I’m marrying my favourite person today. Dress stained? Who cares…I’m meant to party in it 🪩💃🕺
As I finally have a stretch of non stop editing before my next wedding, I am revisiting some of these moments and I find myself smiling at the screen. Thank you to all of the amazing couples who have trusted me with their wedding days (& even more for their patience while I edit). Love you all 🫶🥲 what a great summer xoxo

I met these two while photographing their grandson’s wedding, and the second I saw them together on the dance floor, I knew I needed to photograph them.
The way they looked at each other. The way they danced and laughed together. That’s the kind of love that’s lived through entire chapters of a life together 🥲
So naturally… I asked them to get in front of my camera and luckily they said yes 💛
