* Thursday Sept 24, Grade 8 Parent Night at 7pm
* Monday Sept 28, PAC Meeting in Library 7pm
* Tuesday Sept 29, Dry Grad Meeting for Grade 12 Parents
* Wednesday Sept 30, No School for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Just a reminder, there is no school on Monday! This coming Monday, Sept 21st, is a Non-Instructional Day. Long weekend for students!!

Welcome back everyone! Here's to the start of another amazing school year here at Westview!

It is almost back to school time! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer vacation.

This week on Thursday Sept 3, there are a few things going on.

- if you are a NEW student to Westview in grades 9-12, there is a new student orientation from 10-11am (this is not for grade 8’s or international students as they have their own events taking place).

- for all incoming grade 8’s, there is an orientation/open house from 12-2pm

Enjoy this last few days of summer vacation!! We’ll be back in full swing next week after Labour Day 😉

As this school year is winding down, the PAC would just like to thank everyone for their support this past year and we hope you have a wonderful summer!

See you back here in September for another epic year!

If you are a current grade 11 parent, and you have a couple of hours you're willing to donate to us - we need your help! :)

The grade 12's graduation ceremony is Tuesday June 9th, and if they can get 5 parent/adult volunteers from 4-9pm to help out (I believe they said in the parking lot, showing people where to park etc?) then they will donate $1000 towards our kids Dry Grad for next year. So if your child is in grade 11, this is a great way to volunteer now and help raise money for our kids graduation next year! There are 3 people signed up so far but they need 5 (so we are short 2 people).

Last night a new PAC was voted in for the 2026/2027 school year and we have a full team - welcome all the new members and we are so excited to have an amazing, strong team for the next school year!!

7pm tonight in the library - last PAC Meeting of the school year. This meeting is open to all new grade 8 parents whose children will be starting in September as well!
