Another Brikers Back-to-School Bash in the books!
This past weekend, we hosted our annual Brikers Back-to-School Bash for our employees and their families! It was an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and plenty of things to keep the kids busy!
A surprise visit for the kids from Steve with Jamie Davis Towing — and, of course, the kids LOVED getting up close to the tow truck!

IT’S DISMANTLING TIME AT Brikers! 🔧
We’re currently dismantling a CAT 775F, with more equipment on the way.
That’s right — we purchase equipment and dismantle it for parts, giving you access to quality used and rebuilt components, rebuilt in-house and fully tested, at a fraction of the cost of new OEM parts.

👀 Not all aftermarket parts are created equal…
No rust. No metal particles. No obvious machining damage...
So why did this CAT 308E2 CR aftermarket rotating group make it into the Aftermarket Horror Series?
At first glance, it looked clean, new, and ready for service. But once we started checking the engineering, we found a geometry issue within the rotating group itself.
This wasn’t shipping damage or a failed field component. The concern was built into the design.
That’s the challenge with aftermarket parts: some problems can’t be seen—they have to be measured.
At Brikers, we inspect and test aftermarket hydraulic components before they reach our customers because “looks good” isn’t quality control.

👀 Not all aftermarket parts are created equal…
Looks can be deceiving.
We recently inspected a Deere 350GLC hydraulic pump and a Komatsu PC200-7 swing motor fresh from the aftermarket market.
Once opened, we found impact damage, valve plate wear, contamination, corrosion, improper assembly, and other quality concerns that should have been caught before shipment.
The swing motor showed similar issues, including impact marks and valve plate damage—clear signs that quality control was lacking.
That's the risk with some aftermarket components. They may look great on the outside, but hidden defects can lead to costly failures and downtime.
At Brikers, every hydraulic component is inspected and tested before shipment because reliability starts long before the part reaches your machine.
