My husband has been raising chicken for over 40 years. Our meat is raised on our farm, FRASERVIEW POULTRY, here in Maple ridge. The beef is strictly grass fed, no hormones or antibiotics are used. The chickens are raised in a barn until 5 1/2 weeks old and then they are let out to run. The chicken are supplemented with a grain/veggie commercial feed (To make sure they are getting enough food.) The Muscovy ducks are hatched and raised outside year round. They are able to swim on a huge pond and eat out in our grass fields. Our lambs are Dorper and St.Croix hairsheep, they are raised on our farm. They eat mainly grass and are also supplemented with an cup of grain each night. Every Spring I seed and transplant the following items in our greenhouses; Various bedding plants, vegetable plants, hanging baskets, tubs, and perennials. We bring in all our trees and shrubs from various B.C. wholesale suppliers. We also sell potting soil , fertilizers, and garden decorations.
